     @WizardOfDocs Admittedly, running your own live streaming server isn't for everyone. And it's certainly not a 1:1 replacement for big tech services. But Owncast does allow you to run your own live stream, whatever that entails, with your own rules, allowing flexibility to do your own thing.      @owncast so Twitch recently announced they were changing their TOS to prevent people from multistreaming

     there's at least one streamer I really like and kind of know personally who simulcasts to Twitch and Youtube and will be affected by this; he's not massively excited about the fediverse, but I'd like to be able to make recommendations
