She was talking about her neo-luddite trad Catholic Quebecois self-sufficient rural community idea again, and I ended up mapping out exactly where in Quebec one could set up a village to have access to the most natural resources possible to provide for that. I ended up finding a place with access to iron, coal, sulfur and a couple of other things in the mountains, plenty of woods, and good valley lands for grazing livestock. With weather that could be tolerate.
I think I might have autism.

For example, if you have rocks, sticks, & clay, here's all the equipment you can build and how, with that equipment built here's the next things you can build. If you have access to metal here's what else you can build, etc. Once big, explicit dependency tree.

I want to go on a crazy acquisition binge and get blueprints and plans for as much pre-electricity machinery as I can. We had some crazy ass textile mills running solely on water. The machinery was very sofisticated.
The dream is to set up a collapse-proof compound with basic industrial capability for various mills.

@Leaflord Well I was just thinking like, I wouldn't want to watch John Wick but if I had a little son who was like "Omg guns so cool! Rwar rwar if only John Wick had dinosaurs he'd be cooler!!!!" I would happily watch John Wick with him. So I thought that's the only possible explanation for watching all four John Wick films.
