I like some of what he says about “pride” here, but what the Moms I know are hungry for is high-quality books without a political agenda, as well as unaltered reprints of classics (including hard-to-find, lesser-known classics).

I never did know what to make of that when I watched many shows about it on tv, but now I really do know how gross it is, how cruel to baby, and mother to be torn apart at birth.
People care more about full grown lambs being separated from the flock than they do about babies. -

If I am not capable of raising a child to a standard I find acceptable for a child, and if I look around the world and decide that being placed into it with a random family, away from me, is not an acceptable outcome, I might decide that an early-as-possible abortion is the best option. They see that as monstrous. I think it’s because they think the outcome will be in keeping with God’s plan, so it’s automatically a good one. As an atheist, I just do not see it the same way.
I thought American values were freedom, individualism, and hard work – not that I particularly like hard work, but it’s what comes to mind as what is usually meant.
Seahorses are horses likes this.
