   on July 1st the Maestro cards won't be accepted anymore in major German supermarkets. so I have to get a credit card to pay :angry_cirno:

     got a new account from Deutsche Bank and they did the 'old' Maestro + Girocard. but as I understand it, I'll need an actual debit or credit card going forward?

     @kaia@brotka.st hm? what's wrong with german banks? here i only receive one card, either visa or mastercard as a debit card, and no other ones :otter_think:

     @kaia @igwigg is there v-pay on it too? I know many banks are just not giving out girocards anymore and are just doing debit, there's really no reason to have girocards.

     yeah, I don't understand why they gave me a Girocard :angry_cirno: I have a 'free' account due to some things. maybe because of that.
