Phil M (pmarrone@mastodon.social)'s status on Saturday, 27-May-2023 04:51:13 JST Phil M @mattl I feel like Bluesky was a major let down. We already have decentralized social media (Fediverse), if anything we need to work on how to give it the reach of a Twitter. Bluesky is proprietary, and the protocol is under an MIT license, instead of being a web standard. I can’t help but see that Bluesky isn’t a benefit to anyone but itself. Ironic, considering it’s incorporated as a benefit corporation (which I normally support).

Phil M (pmarrone@mastodon.social)'s status on Saturday, 27-May-2023 23:06:22 JST Phil M @mattl because at least the servers appear to be. I know the protocol is in the MIT license. Licensing isn’t the issue for me though.
