     @schrottkatze akkoma/pleroma instances provide a relay under <domain>/relay
     i think mastodon does something similiar but they have a weird approving system which didnt work the last time i tried
     idk for misskey tho

     @Jain@blob.cat i don't know how i'd do that, tried just adding an instance as a relay but i don't think that works

     @schrottkatze @stanford mastodon has their relay under <domain>/actor (but as i said, somehow it never worked and in the masto backend there is some kind of approving system)

     @bugbear back when i tried, akkoma/pleroma had like an unauthenticated relay which you could turn off/on while mastodon has a approval system and therefore werent compatible but there is a software which was able to handle both situations.

     @Jain do you know if the akkoma relays are compatible with mastodon instances? or is it not part of the standard?
