   Hi Kelly,

   It does get better once you've been on here and got used to the place. This is mainly a human-based network rather than algorithm-based, so it takes longer to build a network but it tends to be more meaningful.

     I've been clinging to a futile hope that

     (a) Mastodon would automatically start to feel natural to me; or

     (b) A magical new alternative would appear; or

     (c) Twitter would stop its death-spiral into fascism.

     Since it's clear none of those are happening, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and leave the Hellsite and commit to posting only here.

     Friends, I would love help with rebuilding my network and getting the "feel" of Mastodon. <3
