     Did they not capture vehicles? As I understand it the initial incursion was driven off. Im not sure why them posing the vehicles matters that much in the grand scheme of the absolute wall to wall propaganda campaign each side has waged

     Im both siding here because this is undoubtedly the most intentionally misinformation and disinformation filled conflict in modern history. Both sides quite literally lie about almost every event for weeks at a time before quietly dropping an issue.
     
     As for the pictures, Idk its a propaganda picture they thought looked good for who knows what reason, I believe there were more pictures of actual vehicles on twitter under those war monitoring accounts. If you are going to just dismiss large scale hoaxing like the ghost of kiev just because its from the side you like its clear your not going to agree that they are putting out mountains of disinfo as well.

     You are both-sides-ing here, if the volume of bullshit being put out were comparable, you wouldn’t be making a vague reference to it, and the other guy would have had a more recent/significant example than the Ghost of Kiev.

     The humvee is western equipment, and the western equipment is going to be used in the actual counter-offensive, not just the probing attacks and shaping operations. Why did they have to pose some humvees if they actually had real examples of captured or destroyed western equipment?

     @LovecraftEnthusiast No, I think it’s because you’re in denial about how one-sided the bullshit is. “The other side lies too” is not something that needed to be said, and “both sides lie about their battlefield victories to a comparable degree” is just straight up false.

     People jump to those specific example because they are well known, its not some nefarious plot.
     Regardless we have gotten pretty far away from my original intention. What makes this particular staging that funny? I guess im missing it
