@helene I will bring the biggest, most lovingest dogs to you and help you overcome that fear of dogs. Not just biggest and lovingest, but dogs whose ancestors were bred in Lorraine and Alsace.
@7 they're definitely cute, I've had the occasion to pet some large fluffy nice ones and they've been very nice dogs some don't scare me, but most do, they're definitely full of energy! (I wouldn't trust myself in being able to care well for them, because of that
@helene Ah, aye, that energy is something that has to be harnessed. Definitely easier if someone has the opportunities to learn the basics of interacting with dogs young; I do wish more people would do things like train their dogs to walk their kids.
@7 it's definitely about having them young too, and training them is not something everyone does well (or can do well), so I haven't seen it much and usually most dogs I've met have been untrained guard/hunting dogs, so definitely not good experiences! I prefer the huggable companions!
@helene It’s that responsibility that we have to each other that makes them so important to me, though. We have these analytical brains and we get all existential and then the dog barks and we’re like “what da dog doin” and he’s probably barking at the helicopters that fly too low above my house and you know what, yeah, fuck those guys, bark bark bark bark bark
@helene When it comes to the helicopters, I big feel that one cuz I fly my drones in the backyard and if a manned craft is flying overhead, in my airspace, I’m not allowed to launch a UAV. Now, my location is admittedly bad – police and news choppers fly directly overhead all the time because of the freeway interchange about 200m away. But please, respect civilian airspace.
@kaedechan I think something weird is going on with mastodon.ml TBH, I've just realized that my Neural Medusa comments are visible from my instance only. I was talking to the void for a couple of weeks already ? @helene
