     to better outline why this is really cool (i'm sitting next to @elly and i'm enjoying the ride):
     
     amdgpu was whacked from wayland, passed to the VM, windows initialized it and it started working, even though it was broken on stock UEFI fw
     
     this is a consumer platform! with coreboot! AND WORKING PCIE HOTPLUGGING

     @iro_miya @domi @elly pcie is the port which you usually install additional cards to a computer, like a Graphic Card... And yes HotPlug means you can plug it out and put something else in while everything is running

What is PCI-E? :blobcatgooglyholdingitsheadinitshands: PCI-E HotPlug means you can unplug something from PCI-E and replug something else, right?

     PCI-E HotPlugging is available on this motherboard, because even though it it a consumer platform, PCI-E HotPlug is required by ThunderBolt specification - at least to my understanding.
     
     This means that when I'll be done with this port, if you would use this board with coreboot as a server, you would be able to yoink a HBA for instance, replace it with 10GbE NIC, rescan devices from sysfs and... have it work. It's super interesting.
