* Why is the world in love again?
* Why are we marching hand in hand?
* Why are the ocean levels rising up?

@gnu2 This is the case in every city. Those outward facing "signature things" don't seem so important when you're local. I lived in the Bay Area for 7 years and never went to Alcatraz, and I only ever went to Fisherman's Wharf when entertaining an out of town visitor. Here in Atlanta, I've never been to the World Of Coke.
@gnu2 thanks for the tips! Not sure how much we will be able to fit in, but we'll definitely try for some of those!
@gnu2 This is basically a once in a lifetime event for us, and the show's been on hold for the last 3 years, so it comes with great anticipation.
@posco we were waiting for that. Glad it was you. 😊
@roadriverrail it’s a brand new record, for 1990.
@posco They Might Be Giants' brand new album, Flood!
@posco Halfway through a double set. They're as amazing as ever. They actually played "Sapphire Bullets Of Pure Love" sonically backwards and recorded it. They'll unveil the reversed video in the next set, proving they really did play it backwards live.
@roadriverrail was it good? I’ve seen them love many times but I’d love to see them perform Flood.
One other thing I should mention from the show-- They Might Be Giants used their between-song banter to mock anti-trans legislation and to loudly proclaim their show unwelcome to fascists. John Flansburgh even got hot under the collar about it. He'd made an antifascist crack that an audience heckler got upset about, and he told her she could leave. "There's plenty of room outside with the other fascists." #TMBG #antifascist
