     @dave @AbolishPregnancy I think they were inspired independently.
     
     Pacman's creator was inspired by a pizza missing a slice (lol) I imagine he like held up the pizza and pretended to eat his friends with it.
     
     Kirby's original concept was a character that absorbed powers. Although, his creator did originally want him to be yellow, so maybe there was some inspiration from Pacman (Kirby was created 25 ya, Pacman 43, apparently)

     @Piss_Ant @AbolishPregnancy Hmmm, now you have me wondering: did Pac-Man inspire Kirby, or was it the other way around?

     Or were they both inspired by something else entirely?
