   Small businesses are a crap shoot indeed, but some of them do things well. Big businesses invariably use their power to extort handouts and protections from government and you pay for it.
   
   Leftism is the ideological equivalent of a van with "Free Candy" written on the side. Attractive to children and psychopaths, but for different reasons.

     who else has the money and experience to manage properties at scale?
     
     It's not all cocoa and fairy tales with normie landlords. Corporate apartments at least do better with repairs and maintenance.
     
     This leftist law ruins anyone's chance at becoming a landlord. There has to be a better approach. Liberals always have the heart but implement things terribly.

     You're a private business under ~25 properties, you get to do what you want.
     
     Big corporate rental company? You're gonna get monitored.
