     @killyourfm 40 USD for an #MCR shirt at the most recent concert I went to, rough but at least the glow in the dark ink is really tough lol no fading to be seen.

     @mforester I know Metallica gives certain proceeds to charity but come on…. I already spent more than €400 on tickets, the flight here, the hotel, the Ubers.

     @killyourfm 55€ is insane. I remember a time when shirts were 30€ or less. And even with 30€ I thought about buying one twice.

     @killyourfm The charity donation just doesn't sit right when a band's net worth is insane and we're just regular people. Not to shit talk U2... But a friend of mine justified U2s insane ticket prices with the bands charitable contributions.

     @Stretch882 I'm with you. There is ZERO justification for concert ticket prices, by any band, period.

     I at least applaud Pearl Jam for TRYING to fight the good fight against Ticketmaster back in the day.

     @cpy This is certainly not hard evidence in support of that, but Metallica's shows here are at Stade de France, an 80K capacity stadium.

     The entire top row was tarped off, the lower seats weren't packed, and there was breathing room on the ground.

     That never happened before COVID.

     @killyourfm Seems most artists still have a rough time after the pandemic. Lots of smaller shows I have tickets for get postponed to fill the venue. Tshirts are getting expensive. I try and buy a few things of Bandcamp fridays to keep my treasured bands going.
