   Personally I'm not that attached to Xorg - if Weyland can be made to work for desktop users, I'm fine with using it. I'm sure there are features that I'll probably want that will break, but if the rot is *that* deep that we have to migrate so be it
   
   I notice *neither* Weyland nor Xorg is mentioned on techrights 'entwined with github' list, which is...sus

     @jeffcliff I really love Wayland because it just works so easily and flawlessly. the config is powerful but really simple, i would recommend https://github.com/labwc/labwc if you don't like tiling window managers (of which there are plenty good ones on Xorg)
