     I had a hand-me-down flip phone before this one, but this one was the first one I can say was mine. And I disliked it very much, a pressure-sensitive touchscreen is awful.

     I don't believe they ever did, atleast with the iTouch I know it was not the same. With the LG Dare I would either force my fingers too hard or too little making a cascade of typing errors.

     @alex My sister and I shared that one XD my parents wanted us to be safe on the walk home. The first one I got to myself and was allowed to text ppl on was this one I think. It may have been a version before this one.

     @alex My first cell phone WAS a smart phone. It was some old Palm Phone with a monochrome LCD screen and text-only internet access. I can't remember the model name of it but the touch screen had a flip down cover that had phone keypad buttons on half the cover and a window on the other half so you could see the time and read texts. Now that I am remembering it I wonder if some autist around here can ID it.
     
     IIRC it got stolen from me by some Mexican friend of a friend when I was down in Miami for a while. He also stole a bunch of PS2 and Xbox games, if that tells you how long ago that was, but I had already dropped Sprint the year prior, so the phone was basically a paperweight at that point. He was also apparently adept at stealing stuff from his Walmart job, including rather sizeable flat screen TVs.
     
     A long time after that I had a knockoff Blackberry from LG. Pic related.
     
     I'm on... I think my fourth Android phone now, I don't know, they've all been provided to me over the last several years, so I don't really pay mucg attention to which exactly they are.

     My first cellphone (I was hoping to hide behind my first smartphone until I realized that it wasn't my T-Mobile G1) does age me: the Nokia 5190 that I got through VoiceStream shortly after getting married. Bonus: my first smartphone was in fact an HP iPAQ H6320 (not my first iPAQ but the first one with cell service). Bonus bonus: passed on the iPhone after vigorously hating my iPod (mostly the software) and went for the T-Mobile G1. #goodtimes
