   I thought @fediversenews was a moderated list, but will have to unfollow after a blatantly hateful, transphobic post was boosted by it.

     @thom That offender has been blocked from posting to @fediversenews.

     If you see an offensive post, I advise you to report it so that I can take the required action.

     In this case, it didn't help that venera.social didn't block the domain from that offender prior to them sending that post.

     As for further actions, I will be looking at whether Friendica supports additional moderators for this group. If not, I'll find a workaround.

     Going to the offender's timeline, it's clear that they were testing this. Which means that groups are useless if they are "moderate after the fact" as that can be exploited easily.

     @atomicpoet thanks for the follow-up. Appreciate all you do, but I've got to admit that the Friendica group feature has me a little nervous right now.
