   No, Bluesky is not likely to federate with Mastodon any time soon. It might never happen

   I had to explain this on Bluesky because some people believed federation with Mastodon was coming.

   Nope! The protocols are incompatible with each other!

     @atomicpoet The protocols are different, but there's an API that will let you grab a timeline.

     And, any interactivity would have had to come from AP anyway. It's not like Jack and Co. really care about decentralization other than making money off a buzzword.
