     as far as i know is the cpu on a separate pcb which you can change to a new one... but there arent many pci lanes tho

     @rick@a.n0id.space i looked at the mnt reform, sounds interesting, but the choice of component makes it rather hard to hardware upgrade from what i read.
     
     framework can easily be upgraded (and the old mainboard can be repurposed).
     
     though i still have first gen framework (with 11th gen intel)
     
     im waiting for the framework 16. that one will come first with intel only, but has a full width expansion port that can hold pci express components, for example a dedicated gpu. also 16" instead of 13".

     @rick@a.n0id.space @tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com @Jain@blob.cat 6 thunderbolt ports (the add in cards), one big pci express port (in the back) and 16" is nice. will be ma new gaming on the go machine. the 13" have onle 4 tb ports and no pci express one
