   Monday, at 10am est, I'm going to be interviewed by an AI about ... AI.....LIVE.

   It should be fun.

   It will be pumped out to my LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook, and other channels. I use to pump these things out to Periscope too but no more. It would be nice to have a Periscope-like service here. (Ya, I've played with Peertube but I'm looking for live video embeds)

     @fringe Totally familiar with it; I've installed it on a server here and out on the cloud. My studio can pump out RTMP and RTSP feeds into servers like this for blasting out. I've got services that do the same thing (see https://virtual.jimcarroll.com)

     But it doesn't do a video embed in a toot. Periscope was nice because I could hit 'go live' and it would do a tweet with the live video embedded right it. Can't do that here in this account....

     Your Virtual Studio is impressive, to say the least.

     I was hoping this https://owncast.online/docs/embed/ would have been the ticket since it says it can embed in "any source"--doesn't sound like it will, sadly.

     I totally get the functionality you're looking for, though!

     Maybe someone else will chime in with the answer.

     @fringe I could totally do that if Mastodon supported embed codes, but I suppose that would open a can of worms...

     @fringe @jimcarroll It has to do more with how you're viewing a post than Owncast itself. Owncast does support inline playback if the interface supports it. For example if you open this post on Mastodon you'll see a stream inline.

     But how do I find an embed code to bring the stream in directly here, i.e. so it plays in-line here in futurist.info/@jimcarroll

     @jimcarroll @fringe There's nothing additional you have to do. As long as the interface you use supports it, it'll show up inline. Seems to be working fine!
