   Huge news 🥳

   WordPress now has 3,000 ActivityPub plug-in installs.

   Which means that on a per node basis, WordPress’s install base is appr. 25% comparative to the size of Mastodon’s install base.

   If I were to hazard a guess, WordPress is now the 2nd largest Fediverse server software in terms of active nodes.

   In terms of Fediverse server installs, it’s more than possible that WordPress could overtake Mastodon.

     @luca @atomicpoet @fediversenews to find new blogs, you can have a look at https://beta.fedidb.org/software/wordpress or https://the-federation.info/platform/43 Maybe we can also find a way to add some tags to these stats, to get some infos about the content. There is another site that tries to tag profiels, but this is not limited to WordPress https://fediverse.info/explore/people

     as someone pointed out, as these are comparable to single user instances, would be great to have a list.
     Could eventually such a list be optionally created by the plugin?
     When you install the plugin, maybe a first message could be sent with a particolar hashtag and the blog content description.
     
     If someone knows great wordpress blog to follow, bost it.
     Same for whatever interesting federated content != microblogging

     @pfefferle @atomicpoet @fediversenews usually i use https://fediverse.observer/ but it's not reporting (yet) wordpress
     
     Anyway, especially for the blog use case, i think content tags would be needed.
