   @gvwilson @gnomon @nelson @mhoye luau looks neat if you use case matches the one it was designed for but they made a few questionable decisions that make it not great as a general purpose language

   like ... they broke TCO, with very flimsy rationale, bit of a red flag

     Never touched Lua before today, but got a competent Noita mod set up for my son with about 45 minutes work. That "still got it" feeling is pretty good.
