   I just wrote a LONG post for one of my speaker bureau partners that they will blog about the acceleration of AI, and what association leaders, executives, CEOs and CxOs need to do about it. I'll share it when it's out.

   Here's a teaser from the opening.

   I have some wonderful bureau partners worldwide, and actively work with them in a cooperative effort. I'm always eager to elevate and enhance our mutual efforts!

     Re chatbot evidence at trial:

     This is not a new issue. Photoshop has existed for a while and courts have learned to cope (chain of custody now matters a *lot* more for photographic evidence)

     @wrog When I was in Federal Court in 2002, the defence was trying to get me to go to a Web site on a page in Sri Lanka, and state that the information there was accurate and true. I look at him like he was wonky. Today, the courts do this regularly. They're in a strange space ... and it is only going to get worse. Chain-of-custody etc? Massive issues. Mark my words - one day ChatGPT or some such will be used in real time, in a court. It's FU beyond repair. But its gonna happen.

     Evidence for *what*?

     If ChatGPT is acting as a witness of some kind, on what basis would it be deemed competent? (we already have rules for expert witnesses. I'm already finding it hard to imagine that something for which we can't say what algorithm it's actually using and is already known to readily produce bullshit and lies will ever be considered admissible)
