     That's an utterly horrifying take by that Higgins person.

     Libraries out to be better funded and expanded to include a library of things and library of repair. To move beyond just books and media.

     @futurebird @thomasfuchs @TheBird My local library has a full on makerspace with 3D printers, a laser cutter, a vinyl / fabric cutter, sewing machines, etc all usable for the price of raw materials. They also have a decent tool lending library suitable for doing craft projects, home repair, minor renovations, etc.
