   @NilaJones @DrCuriosity they probably were sent, and there's a lot of them addressed to one guy which were all found in the same place and they're by different authors.

   Not baking the tablets was normal. Think of it like laminating paper, it's a whole thing, you wouldn't do it for most stuff.

     Does this mean that the tablets are unsent letters?

     The kind that we still write now, with no intention of actually sending them, just to get stuff off our chest?

     ...and ironically ended up being read by thousands of people, thousands of years later?
