   @thomasfuchs For non-Magic players, "Revised" was a "fixed" reprint of Unlimited, which was printed in vastly higher quantity, and thus has much lower scarcity value.

     @thomasfuchs I moved away from paper Magic and into Arena largely because Arena is much cheaper, and I didn't have to deal with shuffle-cheaters (I have a whole sleight-of-hand demo I do to show people why their shuffles are cheating) and the really good fakes that are out now.

     @thomasfuchs wow, that's so unprofessional! I mean, unlimited and revised are pretty easy to distinguish in colors, border design, mana symbols and font. I expect every trader who deals with cards from that era to know these differences.

     I mean, it's not like 4th edition and summer magic or foreign black bordered and beta ?♂️

     @thomasfuchs I bet the fraud is worse than is reported. The production limits during the pandemic brought out the worst in people and the scalpers have sucked the joy out of cardboard acquisition. I've had luck buying from long-standing brick & mortar stores (vs individuals) through TCGplayer but for special cards they charge a premium.

     I'm tempted to catch back up with ETBs and spend some relaxing time re-sorting cards, but with in-person events canceled during the pandemic, my kids moved on.
