How many doses of the vaccine did you take?

I had a rough night.
I suppose if I weren’t already taking Paxlovid, I would desperately want to. I assume the fevers are from COVID itself, and maybe the Paxlovid just isn’t helping. Or maybe it IS helping and I don’t want to contemplate how much sicker I would be without it.

COVID liveposting! Fever back down to the 100-102F range.
I feel almost exactly like I did after my last booster shot, just with the addition of a sore throat and snot and occasional cough. I assume the paxlovid is minimizing those symptoms. My fever got higher last night obviously (booster fever maxed at 102F) but overall it feels exactly the same. Which is to say awful.

Honestly this is sucking ass. An hour after my first paxlovd dose I started shaking uncontrollably, teeth chattering too hard to eat. Was already wearing warm clothes, wool shirt vest hat pants socks, added a wool jacket, got under a thick duvet with a heating pad set to max and continued shaking. Don’t know if it’s the disease or the cure or both but it’s awful.
Actually it’s remarkably similar to the symptoms I had after my last booster, hence no more boosters. However I don’t recall shaking this much after my jabs. My jab fevers were higher, too, but not by much and there’s still time to climb over 102F. Whee.

Paxlovid obtained and first dose swallowed.
Feverish fingers crossed.
