     @thomasfuchs TIL that, by some measures (like being listed on opengroup.org/openbrand/register), macOS is *more* of a UNIX than Linux is :D

     I do remember some syscall or other tripping me up in university, because it behaved slightly differently on macOS than it did Linux. Cost me like half a day to puzzle that one out…
