but to be fair, if you just buy every cable that's certified for Thunderbolt 4 you'll never have a problem. At least there's *one* method of knowing the cable can do all the things USB4 can do-

Idk, but it's weird. I think this one might have to become a stay-at-home machine; and I get something more sensible for travel; I just can't trust it not to let me down.
