   The last 3 days I've had the same amount of people unfollow me that followed me.

   A net gain of 0.

   This has happened twice before and each time it was proceeded by a big leap in new followers within the next week.

   If it happens again I'm going to be really curious trying to figure out what the pattern is or it's cause. Is it something in my behavior?

   Not that it makes a difference. I'm just fascinated.

     @Mrfunkedude Could it be Instagram and/or Twitter users? You know about the follow/unfollow method, right?

     @haikushack it's not the same people. At least it doesn't seem to be.

     Whenever someone follows me I usually check their profile for "undesirable" content. So I would see in my list if someone followed one day and then unfollowed the next.

     At least I think I do. I'll try to make an extra effort to see if there's more there then what I'm seeing.

     @That_One_Guy The reason I said it's an ADHD thing is pattern recognition. I have a tendency to notice patterns around me and when I do it's really hard for me not to try to root out the cause. Otherwise I wouldn't pay attention to it at all.

     I think some people take offense to certain topics that seem normal to us. Whatever it may be I've always been told you can't make everyone happy.

     I'm not sure if it's ADHD, I've seen several people who use a service and regularly post their follow/unfollow stats. I honestly don't pay attention, I usually access and follow people through an interaction like a favorite, boost or a mention.
