Hi Fedi~
We now have the most based local bubble. Yes, this list is incredibly diverse. But ever since we started this instance, we have been focused on associating closely only with instances intent on reducing abuse, rather than causing it. As a plural system that has been abused for much of our lives—yet has somehow found healing and peace and mental clarity—we desire to associate with people of many different viewpoints, all so that we can both speak out against abuse and provide support to survivors like ourselves.
We also just want to have a good time online, and we enjoy hearing from diverse perspectives. As such, even our reject list has been substantially reduced in MRF.
No one is harmed by someone thinking thoughts, even if those thoughts are spoken aloud. Some thoughts though, when turned into action, are indeed abusive. And words themselves can cause harm. We take that into consideration and now more consistently deactivate individual accounts wherever possible. And when the words are especially concerning and amount to a threat of physical harm, or when abusive media is shared, we report that to admins immediately.
Thanks for having us here! :3
