     @lamp A lot of registrars will offer refunds on most TLDs, with some exceptions (usually depending on TLD policies).

     I’m personally happy domains are a yearly thing, but I see where you’re coming from and could definitely see the benefits to monthly options.

     @lamp that’d definitely be interesting.

     I could see there being issues with people abusing domains with other’s WHOIS info. So, it’d have to be some sort of system where the domain was literally transferred to the person with their info put in for the WHOIS requirements.
