how to fix remote media "cache" if i deleted it all

@RoboMWM you can export and import bookmarks, favorites, follows etc as csv. you can also transfer all* followers to the new account with some setup on both sides.

*depends on implementation, #mastodon will unfollow the old account, #pleroma will follow both old and new, and #misskey just doesn't seem to give a damn.

@GoatedB it seems the best thing to do might be to block a few random obscure instances like mastodon.cloud does. they have surprisingly few blocks (from others).

or just hide blocks... now i see why you'd want to do that.

but such people are garbage not worth interacting with so fuck them. i hide nothing.

@GoatedB ya know, who i block is none of their business, it's not like it lets content through from servers they block. what matters is how the content on THIS server is.
