When I loved myself enough, I stopped buying supermarket coffee that's stale by the time I grind it.
When I loved myself enough, I made specialty roaster beans the norm, and the not the exception.
(Me, in the near future that starts tomorrow).

@jorval You're doing a good job marketing his coffee, because now I'm curious to try it! (Does he have a website?)
@killyourfm
A while ago a friend changed his proffesion from marketeer to roaster.
With his marketing background he was very fast very successful.
He made his passion to his job, and his coffee is excellent.
Unfortunally i belive he is shipping only in germany.
We also have strange taxrules applied to coffee.
@Magess Thanks! I actually have a great one; the internal struggle, sometimes, is convincing myself I'm worth having that every day.
@killyourfm I hope you find yourself a great artisan roaster! No one should have bad coffee...
@mforester VERY NICE! You know, unrelated to this, I'm starting to seriously evaluate Germany as a new home, so this is good information to have!
@killyourfm I'm very lucky to live in Freiburg (Germany), a city that has at least 3 smaller, independent coffee roasters I can chose from. ?
Starting my Monday by delivering on this promise to myself! #coffee
@killyourfm
Excellent choice!
It's held in high regard by my better half.
@RyunoKi this is my first time brewing with one. It’s a bit challenging and time consuming but the end result is really worth it!
@techmiker It's 100mils, so it seems like just enough for a good strong double espresso, or what I prefer to do: sort of a "Moka Americano."
@killyourfm How much does that bad boy hold? I can never get enough.I think it tastes best out of one of these!
@techmiker I don't know much about the range that's out there, but I think I'd be nervous about having one TOO large. That's a LOT of steam pressure that could potentially go wrong!
@killyourfm Sounds similar to mine! I'm wondering if they make one that holds several litres? #coffeelol #idon'thaveaproblem
@mlabowicz I LOVE hearing stories like this. Why did he end up doing it himself? Was he not satisfied with what he was able to purchase?
@killyourfm my brother in law has gotten into roasting his own coffee and shared some with us. This morning I had my first cup, what a revelation! I can actually taste the flavors! #coffee #roasting
@mlabowicz Good for him! That's an ambitious plan but i hope he pulls it off.
@killyourfm he's working on opening a small cafe and wanted to offer coffee that tasted better and was cheaper in bulk
@mlabowicz I saw the WILDEST roasting method courtesy of James Hoffman.
Deep. Fried. Coffee!?
Worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6y_3KR7IV4
@killyourfm agreed! I think he's on the right track. He's inspiring me to consider roasting my own, possibly on a smoker (I've heard that smoking gives coffee a smoother flavor).
