   The only thing I hate more than giant SUVs and trucks in our cities is the bullshit discussion around giant SUVs and trucks in our cities.

     I expected people would be upset about my latest video about light trucks, especially with the harsh tone.

     When it went viral on multiple platforms (front page of reddit) and hit the Trending page in the US, Canada, and Germany, it reached a wide audience; not just urban planning fans.

     But now the video has over 800K views and the likes/dislikes ratio is 93.4%. That is overwhelmingly positive.

     So ignore the crybaby truck owners: the general public really is sick of these oversized trucks.

     @Yesat I hadn't noticed that! Also, their vans are work vans. They dont even sell minivans or anything remotely similar. Plus cars all look the same now. There isn't any big distinctions between different models. That was the fun of cars 20+ years ago when I was growing up. Some actually looked cooler than others. Now it's the same shitty look everywhere.

     @notjustbikes One thing that is crazy is that Ford US do not sell cars anymore. The only model that is under the "Cars" category is the Mustang E. And if you go to https://www.ford.com/cars/, you will see them saying "Eh just get an SUV."

     @notjustbikes We’re definitely over the manivans blighting the landscape. I live near auto row in my city and it’s kind of hilarious how there is a Dodge dealer with a lot full of Rams, then every other dealer on the strip has year or two old trade-in Dodge Rams on their lots. Like you can actively see people getting kicked in the teeth on trade-in to buy a Hyundai/Kia/Nissan/Toyota
