     I've never been able to reply to Bot on nostr; messages get dropped by relays with no error message for some reason.

     huh ... you know a single client could easily data mine and index the whole thing a lot easier than fedi scrapers, just by the way it's designed. I have a feeling this won't scale well at all.

     To be fair, that's a good thing in this case. The web app isn't storing anything at all; just capturing everything from relays. Your browser is the webapp.
     
     But it's also slow as hell the clients just feel broken ... plus fucking dorsey and the whole permanent history thing.

     Damus is the only decent client but I’m sure it’ll get better. Btw history isn’t really permanent because relays delete old posts.

     But if you just write a client to connect to like 10 ~ 20 major relays you could data mine half the network, right?
