There's a similar federation protocol Zot which had so called nomadic identity for many years, and its creator is currently working on bringing this functionality to fediverse: https://codeberg.org/streams/streams
I think our solution will be better because Bluesky is going to be tied to some identity system controlled by "consortium" (they talk about it in their documentation) -
