If you use @ivory and want to set up a custom filter that only shows you fresh toots (i.e. original content):
1. Tap on the magnifying glass from the home page, then the Funnel (filter icon)
2. In the Filter modal, tap "Create Filter", give your filter a name, then tap the plus (+) near the bottom left.
3. Using the carousel, select minus (-) and "Boosts", then tap "Save"
4. Tap "Save" on the top right, then tap the name of the filter you just created.

Jorge Caballero, MD (datadrivenmd@fedified.com)'s status on Wednesday, 01-Mar-2023 18:30:55 JST Jorge Caballero, MD When I first moved to Mastodon I was kind of frustrated that repeated boosts of the same 5-10 posts would clutter my timeline (though I'm guilty of mass boosting, too). Since I started using @ivory app, I've set up a "no boosts" filter that allows me to focus on original content every time I open the app— it's an actual "For You" feed. Every. Single. Time.
Then, I toggle the filter to *only* show me boosts to see what I've missed. A++
Highly recommend
