     having a sense of community within a server and small groups of servers.

     All that needs to happen is for the relay to get a favicon, then your profile shows favicons for all your relays. Then the ability to view individual relay feeds (snort already has this). I can envision it. Nostr does not boil you down to the individual, it allows you to be a member of multiple communities at once.

     I don't expect one to overtake the other. There are things that make sense on fedi that don't on nostr. Like having a sense of community within a server and small groups of servers.
     
     Nostr is more twitter-like currently where its just a big pool of posts and people carve out their own niches with unclear borders.
