   This winter has been really hard on my joints. I've taken more ibuprofen in the last month then I did the year before.

   My doctor prescribed me some lidocaine patches but I'm really not looking forward to putting a STICKY patch on my HAIRY knees.

   WTF was he thinking???

     @ForfarFairLady Right. And then every time I put on pants for the next week it'll be like ripping apart velcro.

     Besides, you never know when an ad agency is going to want a sexy pair of hairy knees in their new campaign. Gotta keep these money makers looking good!

     If it helps they're not very sticky.
     Sadly I found they provided zero relief :-/

     If that happens fot you, you might ask if they'd give you a prescription for Diclofenac Sodium cream - or you can buy Voltaren off the shelf. That works for most people I know!

     I'm not getting the velcro thing! I use similar patches on my non-hairy knees and haven't come across any velcro issues!

     Don't shave them, removing the first patch will do the job for you. ?
