     Every organization, every group has a figurative or literal tranny on board that tries to fuck with what they assume to be wrong. It takes better human than most to be able to let things you disagree with just coexist. And unfortunately the sad truth is that in group of many it takes only one to exert the power granted by the group to fuck with it.

     @Foil_Hatter @Sui @internetarchive @team Sure, but I mean that I think people over on chudbuds generally have knowledge about this *specific to the Internet Archive,* mainly because it's a bit I've heard from them more than a few times. I just don't know what those details are.

     @internetarchive @team >It is just as important to preserve digital books as paper books, given especially the rising popularity of digital books and the fact that many local and diverse voices are not published in print. We want a future where libraries are free to preserve digital book files and ensure they remain accessible to the public as well unaltered.

     @Sui @Foil_Hatter @internetarchive @team This is the flavor of thing I was wondering about. I know that the Kiwi Farms people thought there was more depth to this removal than was officially stated, and so I thought chudbuds types would know more about that.

     as far as i remember the thing thats been speculated to have happened with the wayback machine thing is taylor lorenz (or some other jewrno scum please correct me if i got the jew wrong) has a relative in wayback machine and got them to remove kiwifarms from there. that was during the #dropkiwifarms campaign.
