     @That_One_Guy The leaf has two charging connections. Chademo and ccs. When is a fast charge and the other isn’t.

     Oh yeah, I forgot the Leaf uses its own proprietary charger like Tesla. Apparently they were switching to the standard for 2023. We almost bought a Leaf before getting the Chevy Bolt.

     @That_One_Guy @taur10 Every public charging station in California aside from Tesla only chargers, works with my Nissan that we bought in 2020.

     Our 2022 Chevy Bolt uses the J1772 charger. In North America every EV except Tesla uses it, even Nissan switched in the 2023 models I think.

     So maybe not the standard worldwide but it was proprietary for Nissan USA.

     @That_One_Guy @Mrfunkedude Actually it's not proprietary, there's just two different standards, and CHAdeMO lost to CCS in North America.

     I've never charged anywhere but at home, I have a J1772 Level 2 charger. My manual calls the level 3 "DC fast charging" . CHAdeMO is the DC fast charging connection for Nissan, Chevy uses something completely different.

     I'm just Googling all this on my phone, it's actually my wife's car but she's passed out and not taking questions.

     @That_One_Guy @Mrfunkedude Leafs have had it for a while, that's the North American type 1 standard plug, CHAdeMO and CCS are competing type 2 standards with CHAdeMO losing. We've a Leaf here, J1772 is what we use at home, and CHAdeMO on the road.
     
     We have a Leaf, and I want a Canoo if'n they manage to pull their act together and actually make vehicles.
