     Maybe, it would just be different. Here they can just join troontown.gay and the janny blocks out all of the bad thoughts. That’s not really possible on nostr though.

     Not really. It works using relays and there are a bunch of them, so even if one “bans” you, people can still connect to you.

     Yeah from what I understand you run a client and other people run relays. Relays can choose to stop relaying your posts but then you can just use other relays and still connect with people following you

     No. It’s more like there’s two people and a bunch of relays between you that connect you together (you can use multiple at once) so even if one bans you, the other person can still see you (assuming they don’t all ban you). You could also just start your own relay.

     I think the hosting model is sort of interesting tbh but it doesn't seem like the place for me. (Also its like 90% spam and porn right now while most of the real humans are cryptards)

     The content rn does definitely suck and it’s very crypto oriented. Like you can post bitcoin invoices for people to pay for whatever reason.
     
     @GoodPerson reposted something about how bluesky may be better, but it’s still like fedi with instances I think. Maybe he can explain it, he knows a lot more than I do.
