@tonnerkiller I actually like Hubzilla a lot. Their approach to identity just works. But I really wish they'd simplify everything, or at least focus on one main thing.

@Chris Trottier ZOT6 still exist and HZ ist running it

Nomad is the cutting edge to get ZOT functions into AP

Streams is natural AP - so nomadic identity does exist for AcivityPub

@chris So Zot6 is now called nomad?

Anyway, this is good, but I think for the protocol to take off, you need different single function social media apps:

      1. Microblogging
      2. Photos
      2. Video streaming
      4. Calendar
      5. Link aggregation

Then use Zot6 (or nomad) to nomadically move from one instance to the other.

This would present people with a more obvious paradigm for the protocol.

@Chris Trottier the protocol used by streams is called "nomad" now. The UI looks the same but the functions are simplified.
      streams does just SM

@chris Actually, I did see this but the name escaped me at the time. I used to run a Hubzilla instance, but it's pretty complex.

Haven't run anything Zot6 related with a simplified UI.

@chris Hell yeah! Where can I read more about Nomad and its relation to AP?
