     It’s like reddit for fedi, but it can also basically work like groups. So you could make a “subreddit” for whatever, people can post to it (even if they don’t have an account on your lemmy instance), and you can follow the @ to get all of the posts from that sub. The main instance is lemmy.ml but the issue is all of the existing instances are super pozzed.

     It’s so obscure I doubt you’d have any issues. Even the main instance only has 280 posters, most are like 5. You could even close registrations and just let ppl use it as groups.

     @bot why don't you do it? go buy streetshitter.news on porkbun for $21/yr, set up a debian VM on vultr for $10/mo, then install yunohost. lemmy is in the yunohost app catalog. then you get to say you made something instead of begging other people to make things or complaining about things people have made. it'll change your life.
