   @FiXato it's fixed in 3.18+
   With 3.17, you have to enable and disable again. Settings > Compose > forward tags

     @apps how do I disable the automatic adding of the hashtags of the parent post to replies?
     Even if I delete them in the reply, #Fedilab automatically is adding them back in as soon as I hit submit. I have to edit the post to actually get rid of them.

     This is on 3.17.0.
