     If somebody doesn't have an intro post, I look for toot activity next.

     The idea is to show that you're a thoughtful human, not some troll creating an alt to stir up trouble.

     @begamit @telorand fuck it. I deleted the post. I'm already getting "but what about" people popping out of the wood work not realizing that IF THE POST DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU THEN YOU SHOULD IGNORE IT.

     oh i totally understand. I feel that a detailed profile is just as good as an intro post. since masto supports multiple pinned posts, intro posts could, in theory, get buried.

     Personally, i don't look for intro post. Profile and activity are what i look at.
