     @mika_regan We have a “Trainees from oversea” issue in Japan, and I learned from the article you cited that similar problems are everywhere.

     Yes. It's a shame that the Japanese government is sponsoring the modern slavery, but I guess it's a dirty secret of the ag industry everywhere.

     @mika_regan I knew agricultural workers were in difficult positions, but was privileged and ignorant not to notice it has been happening in just our neighborhood.
