   @osslate I had that happen around this time last year. My N26 German IBAN details couldn't be used with an energy supplier... due to their systems being outdated.

   After a couple of calls with their managers, I got to use my IBAN in the end and got credit for my troubles.

     Similar situation in Spain, where N26 issue Spanish IBANs because of IBAN discrimination from utility providers there.

     I've also fought Irish utility and telecom companies to accept my non-Irish IBAN. The Central Bank isn't doing enough to pressure or sanction businesses who put roadblocks in the way of people using other EU banks.

     @osslate the company rhymes with "slow mass" - I did have to make a couple of calls afterwards cause apparently applying the IBAN was much more work than an Irish one.

     I have since closed my account with them but I have learned to put my foot down on the matter if it ever comes up again.
