     @ruina better call saul ending was so corny. all tv shows have this problem to an extent but you can tell that a lack of planning plus the fact that the show is a prequel and we already know the characters fates forced their hand. this is supposed to somehow be a good ending (simping for yo ex wife from a decade ago for a life sentence just so you can have her respect or something) but everything is still black and white because like 7 years ago they thought it would be cool if they had a black and white scene of him making donuts. but if you didnt like the ending that means you are a marvel fan who wanted walter and jesse to come back from the dead and break saul out of jail right

     I agree with your other comment, turning him into a braindead simp who just decided to “grow up” by going to prison was awful. Narratively I don’t dislike anti-climaxes if they’re done right but it was done badly here.

     @Shifomu I wonder if the ending would've been better if he wasn't a simp but just went to prison despite his best efforts and there's some understanding between him and kim that chuck was right and he'll never truly change. and it wouldn't have hurt if there was an actual score, not like a pop song like breaking bad but some sort of song while he disappears behind the fence
